No pre-drilled holes: Installation will be on stone - we will not pre-drill holes.
HDPE plastic is maintenance-free. It is a UV stabilized material that is impact resistant, it will not delaminate, chip, rot, or swell. We find this material is well suited for our shutters, however, it cannot be painted. If installed in extremely hot environments and direct sun, it is subject to thermal expansion.
About installation: Our pre-drilled holes allow for this expansion. Do not install during cold or hot weather, the ideal temperature for installation would be around 74-78 deg F or at the average temp for your area.
